  • Liberty Tree Dedication & Parade

    The Nebraska SAR will dedicate a Liberty Tree at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Arlington, NE with the Mary Katherine Goddard Chapter DAR as partnering sponsor.  The Nebraska SAR Color Guard will parade the colors in the annual fair parade following the dedication.

    The Nebraska SAR will be marking the gravesite of Compatriot Samuel Goodale (#4633, NE #33), who was a “Real Son”.  His father, Chester Goodale, was a Private with the Connecticut Troops during the Revolutionary War.
